Hong Kong Trail

The view from The Peak
The Hong Kong Trail is a 50km route from west to east, across Hong Kong island.

The hike is divided into eight sections that take the walker to less frequented areas and provides views of Hong Kong island that many would not know exist.

The route has both strenuous and easy rambling sections.

Section 1

The Peak: The Peak > Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road (7km)

Section 2

Pok Fu Lam: Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road > Peel Rise (4.5km)

Section 3

Aberdeen: Peel Rise > Wan Chai Gap (1.5km)

Section 4

Wong Chuk Hang: Wan Chai Gap > Wong Nei Chung Gap (7.5km)

Section 5

Jardine's Lookout: Wong Nei Chung Gap > Mount Parker Road (4.0km)

Section 6

Tai Tam: Mount Parker Road > Tai Tam Road (4.5km)

Section 7

Tai Tam Bay Tai Tam Road  > To Tei Wan (7.5km)

Section 8

Tai Long Wan: To Tei Wan > Tai Long Wan (8.5km)
